The Ten Dual Frameworks

1. Still/Moving Dual

The dialectical relationship between static structure and dynamic change. Stillness contains movement; movement contains stillness. Understanding this reveals why “unchanging” laws harbor the seeds of “change,” and why beneath the “changing” surface lies an “unchanging” foundation.

Practical application: Is this matter currently static or dynamic? Static �?stable, respond conservatively; Dynamic �?changing, adjust dynamically.

2. Rising/Falling Dual

3. Virtual/Real Dual

4. Visible/Hidden Dual

The relationship between explicit and implicit laws. Explicit laws are visible to everyone; implicit laws are perceptible only to a few.

Practical application: Explicit factors are in plain sight, but implicit factors are the true driving force. Learn to see the hidden.

5. Long/Short Dual

Nested time cycles. Short cycles obey long cycles; long cycles accumulate from short cycles. Understanding this maintains long-term resolve amid short-term fluctuations.

Practical application: Will this matter still be important in five years? If yes, short-term fluctuations don’t deserve attention expenditure.

6. Vertical/Horizontal Dual

The relationship between depth and breadth. Rooting deep vertically enables spreading wide horizontally; spreading wide horizontally reveals the optimal path for vertical depth.

Practical application: Are you rooting deep vertically or spreading wide horizontally? Neither can be neglected.

7. Whole/Point Dual

The relationship between overall situation and local nodes. The whole is constituted by points; points are meaningful only within the whole.

Practical application: Will this node’s change trigger a global chain reaction? See both the trees and the forest.

8. Trend/Price Dual

The relationship between momentum and price. Trend is the internal driving force of price; price is the external manifestation of trend.

Practical application: Don’t be confused by price fluctuations �?see the true direction of momentum.

9. Time/Space Dual

The structural relationship between time and space. Time folds space; space stretches time.

Practical application: Do the right thing at the right time; allocate resources in the right space.

10. Human Nature/Rules Dual

The relationship between human nature laws and social rules. Human nature is the foundation; rules are the surface. Rules are the outcome of human nature’s博弈.

Practical application: Both follow and utilize rules. Rules are explicit; human nature is the implicit driving force.

Dual Is Not Either-This-or-That

Dual is a dimensional marker. Any matter, cut with dual frameworks, reveals structures previously invisible.
