DEMON LAW · 81 COUPLETS

Demon's Law

Speculation is capitalism. Capitalism eats people. Eating people is being a demon.

To eat people long-term, you must be clearer, more ruthless, and wiser than the masses.

Only those who can capture the masses qualify as demons.

DEMON LAW · FOUR VOLUMES · EIGHTY-ONE COUPLETS

1

Entry: Face the Truth of Loss

Couplets 1–20]
§1
THESIS

The market has no face; what enters your heart is all illusion.

ANSWER

The market is merciless — step over it, and there is a way forward.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
The market has no inherent direction — those red and green curves are just numbers moving. But your mind turns them into an emotional entity. You think you're analyzing the market; you're analyzing your own fear and greed. The K-line is a mirror — it reflects you, not the market.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
The market has no morality or feelings. It won't soften because you lost money. Accept this: you cannot change the market — only yourself. Step over this threshold: stop trying to make the market "understand" you, and learn to survive within its rules.
§3
THESIS

When ego arises, stop-loss feels like cutting your own flesh.

ANSWER

Ego is debt — acknowledge early, and the account settles itself.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
You don't stop-loss because "stop-loss" equals "I was wrong" in your mind, and "I was wrong" equals "I have no value." Your ego has become a shackle — it chokes you into choosing more losses to prove "I'm still right." The more you lose, the more you hold — the more you hold, the more you lose.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
The moment you stop-loss, you lose money. But the moment you refuse to stop-loss, you owe a debt with compounding interest — the creditor is your own ego. Traders who hold to liquidation aren't defeated by the market; they're dragged down by their own face. Acknowledging loss is repaying debt. Once repaid, you move light.
§8
THESIS

Seeking certainty never ends; signals are the moon reflected in water.

ANSWER

Probability is truth — abandon the notion of certainty.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
You wait for a "confirmed signal." But certainty doesn't exist. What you're really waiting for is an excuse — "if I'm wrong, I have a reason." Certainty is an illusion of safety. Delete it from your dictionary. There are only probabilities. Build rules — rules don't depend on emotion or desire.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
Replace conviction with rules. Rule: closing price above 20-day MA → buy. No confirmation needed. Rules don't depend on emotion, desire, or your craving for certainty. Use rules to replace judgment, use probability to replace certainty.
§10
THESIS

No one can ferry you across this path — every soul must save itself.

ANSWER

Solitude is power — fight independently, without relying on anyone.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
You sit alone before the screen, your account bleeding. You seek an external voice to say "you're right, keep going." But you're seeking externally a confidence that should come from within. On this path, no one accompanies you forever. Accept solitude — its other face is freedom.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
Your decisions are yours. Your losses are yours. Your account is yours. No explanation needed, no approval required. A warrior doesn't need an audience — he only needs to know why he fights.
2

Breaking: Shatter the Chains of Emotion

Couplets 21–40]
§18
THESIS

Compassion is not weakness — admitting defeat is true courage.

ANSWER

Admitting defeat is victory — preserve capital, return to fight again.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
You don't stop-loss because you think you're strong. But real strength is retreating when you should. Those who never retreat aren't strong — they're stubborn. Stubbornness is fear wearing armor. True courage is admitting your judgment was wrong in front of everyone, then stop-lossing and leaving.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
The moment you stop-loss, you lose one round. But what you win is the qualification to fight again. This qualification matters more than any single trade's outcome. Admitting defeat isn't surrender — it's getting the ticket for the next half. The battlefield remains. You just stepped out this round — to step back in later.
§29
THESIS

The three poisons are the root — greed, anger, and delusion must be extinguished for clarity.

ANSWER

The three poisons are three knives — identify where each blade comes from.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
Greed makes you over-position. Anger makes you revenge-trade after losses. Delusion makes you unaware you're doing both. Greed gets you in, anger prevents stop-loss, delusion prevents acknowledgment. Cut any one link, and the chain breaks.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
Greed knife: ask "Is this position oversized?" Anger knife: ask "Am I retaliating, or executing?" Delusion knife: ask "Do I truly know what I'm doing?" Three questions asked, three knives fall. The goal isn't to eliminate the poisons — it's to make them visible. Once visible, you can catch them when they move.
3

Path: Trading Is Practice

Couplets 41–60]
§41
THESIS

See life and death lightly — a zeroed account is not the end.

ANSWER

Being alive is the ultimate win — with one breath left, the account can flip.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
Your account hit zero. You feel it's the end of the world. But "seeing death lightly" doesn't mean you don't care about living. It means your essence isn't that account number. You lost everything, but you're still you. You just need to start again — not start over as a person, but start over as a trader.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
You still have life. You still have time. You still have the ability to learn. With these three things, account recovery is eventual. But most people destroy their lives before their accounts — insomnia, depression, despair. That's the real zero. Being alive is the prerequisite for everything, including starting over.
§52
THESIS

Right concentration is the anchor — a mind with a home doesn't drift.

ANSWER

Right concentration is iron law — when the stop-loss line breaks, you've lost.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
Right concentration means having an immovable core. Everything you do revolves around it. What is your core? Your understanding of trading, or your commitment to stop-loss? Without a core, you're easily swept by the market — chase rallies, cut dips, forever running after price.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
Your stop-loss line is your concentration. Your iron law. Your immovable core. When it breaks, your concentration breaks. Iron law is iron law because it's unbreakable. If it can be broken, it's not iron law — it's "I'll try."
4

Exit: See Through, Then Keep Walking

Couplets 61–81]
§81
THESIS

With nothing to gain, the bodhisattva relies on prajna-paramita, and the mind has no hindrance.

ANSWER

Nothing gained, nothing lost — those who see through the abyss can walk above it.

【THESIS MEANING】Exposing the disease
Nothing to gain: you have nothing left to lose, and nothing you must obtain. You're a being walking in darkness but not consumed by it. Prajna-paramita: reaching the other shore through wisdom. No hindrance: nothing binds your mind anymore. True freedom isn't possessing everything — it's having nothing that can bind you.
【ANSWER INTERPRETATION】Providing the blade
You have nothing. Your account is zero. But you're still alive. Still breathing. Still thinking. Still capable of starting again. Nothing gained is also nothing lost. Those who see through the abyss don't jump in — they stand above it, look down, and keep walking. The abyss is dark, but your eyes still work. Walk on.
FINAL COUPLET
The demon never stops eating people
Those who see through the masses can eat long-term above them

Clear, ruthless, wise — lacking any one, you\'re not a demon; you\'re food.

You could have stopped eating people. You didn\'t. That\'s the law.
