Cultural Note: The original Chinese title is 币安广场 (Bì’ān Guǎngchǎng), meaning “Binance Plaza/Square.” This is the public forum on Binance where the master published core technical concepts publicly in 2025.
Core Vertical Deviation and Overlapping Deviation
This chapter contains the master’s public posts on Binance Square (under the handle Demon jaw), where he explained two key technical concepts:
Vertical Deviation (纵背离): When price pushes away from an established “core” (a key structural pivot point), it creates a deviation. Vertical deviations are unstable — they have high reversal probability because the core hasn’t yet gained sufficient momentum or consensus.
Overlapping Deviation (叠背离): When price forms a strong horizontal consensus at a level above (or below) an established core, creating a layered structure. This pattern, once formed, almost guarantees price will return to that level — either for same-timeframe consolidation or a higher-timeframe oscillation.

Critical distinction: The overlapping deviation must form as the deviation from the original core, not after deviation creates oscillation that then develops this pattern. The sequence matters.
The 5-Day Moving Average as the “Gold Line”
The master reveals his most important technical tool: the 5-period moving average, which he colors yellow/gold on his charts, calling it the 金线 (gold line).
The principle: All market propulsion follows a 5MA on some timeframe. The 5MA is not just a technical indicator — it reflects a fundamental human cognitive limitation. Humans cannot simultaneously track more than ~7 units of attention. With 5+ people forming a consensus, individual resistance collapses. Market makers exploit this by pushing price along the minimum-standard 5MA, using the smallest cost to guide mass behavior across all timeframes.
