The Novel “False Universe, Fake Reality”
Cultural Note: The original Chinese title is 小说《虚宇伪实》 (Xiǎoshuō “Xū yǔ wěi shí”), meaning “Novel: ‘False Universe, Fake Reality’.” A fiction that reveals truth — when the fictional world mirrors the real one, readers learn without realizing they’re being taught.

The Premise
False Universe, Fake Reality (虚宇伪实) is a novel set in a world that mirrors the crypto trading ecosystem — but with enough fictional distance that readers can observe the dynamics without ego-defensiveness.
The story follows characters who represent different market archetypes:
- The novice who enters with hope and exits with despair
- The intermediate trader who knows the theory but can’t execute
- The dealer who discovers the throne is a trap
- The philosopher who sees the whole system as a folded reality
Why a Novel?
The master chose fiction as a teaching tool for the same reason he wrote the 2025 novel: humans learn through narrative, not abstraction. You can tell someone “don’t revenge trade” a hundred times and they’ll still do it. But if a character in a story revenge-trades and suffers the consequences vividly, the reader absorbs the lesson emotionally.
虚宇伪实 — the title itself is a philosophical statement: the virtual universe is fake reality. Or perhaps: reality is a fake universe. The ambiguity is intentional.
Narrative Themes
- The illusion of control — characters who believe they control the market discover they are controlled by it
- The folding of perception — events that seem chaotic reveal hidden structure when “unfolded”
- The cost of ego — every character’s downfall traces back to a moment where pride overrode discipline
- The possibility of redemption — characters who accept their weakness find a different kind of strength
⚠️ Note: The original Chinese novel contains approximately 40,000 characters of narrative fiction.
