Revenge trading = wanting to immediately “earn back” because you just lost. It’s not strategy — it’s the first step of emotional collapse.

The Typical Death Curve
Day 1: Lost 2%, stop hit.不甘心. Day 1 close: Revenge entry, oversized position, wider stop. Luck favors — recovers loss + 1% profit. You feel smart. Day 2: Try revenge again. Oversized position. Luck doesn’t favor — lose 5%. Day 2 close: Go all-in. No stop-loss. Then liquidation.
一天之内：2% → 4% → 10%。 “Within one day: 2% → 4% → 10%.”
If you stopped after first stop: loss 2%. Close software, come back tomorrow.
Revenge trading is the #1 account killer.
The Cure: 24-Hour Rule
After a big loss, mandatory 24-hour rest. No charts, no trading, no market apps, no community讨论.

24 hours later, emotion subsides, rationality returns.
Hard rule: 2 consecutive losses → close software for 24 hours. No exceptions.

把”赚回来”改成”做对”。 “Replace ‘make it back’ with ‘do it right.’”
Not “I lost 2%, I need to immediately earn it back.” But “I lost, my problem was X. Next trade I’ll do right: correct signal, correct position, correct stop. Doing these three things well, results will naturally follow.”
做对 → 赚钱是结果。赚回来 → 做对是次要的。 “Do right → earning is the result. Earn back → doing right is secondary.”
Texture Check:
- Recall last revenge trade: first loss amount vs. revenge loss vs. total. How many times the first loss?
- If you’d executed “2 losses = 24h break,” how much less would you have lost this month?
- Set a phone timer: next time after 2 consecutive losses, start 24h countdown. Lock or delete trading app until it ends.
