After five chapters of disadvantage analysis, the only question that matters: how do you survive despite all of this?

The answer is not “become stronger” — it’s play a different game.

散户如何破局——从棋子到幸存者 “How retail traders break through — from pawn to survivor”

The Wrong Games

Don’t compete on information (you lose). Don’t compete on speed (you lose). Don’t compete on capital (you lose). Don’t compete on tools (you lose).

The Right Game

Compete on discipline, patience, and selective engagement — the only dimensions where retail traders can create genuine, sustainable advantages.

Discipline: You can choose to always set stop-losses. Dealers don’t always set them — they sometimes take calculated risks you can’t afford. Your absolute discipline beats their selective discipline.

Patience: You can wait months for one perfect signal. Institutions have performance pressure — quarterly reports, LP expectations. Your willingness to wait years beats their need to perform quarterly.

Selective engagement: You can choose to only enter when conditions are perfect. Institutions must deploy capital continuously. Your selectivity beats their necessity.

The Survivor’s Toolkit

  1. 2% rule — single-trade loss never exceeds 2% of capital
  2. Pre-set stops — always, never negotiate with yourself
  3. Conditional decision-making — “if X, I do A” instead of “I think X will happen”
  4. Trading journal — objective record, not memory
  5. Minimum indicators — trend + momentum + volatility, nothing more

不是比对手聪明——是比对手少犯错。 “Not being smarter than opponents — making fewer mistakes than opponents.”

This chapter contains approximately 39,000 characters of Chinese text with detailed survival strategies.
