Original Chinese title: 幸存者

The Survivors — What Those Who Lived Did Right

Cultural Note: The original Chinese title is 幸存者 (Xìngcúnzhě). This chapter studies the rare survivors — what they did differently, what enabled them to persist when 95% of retail traders failed.

What did the survivors do that the 95% who failed didn’t?

This chapter studies the rare 5% — the retail traders who actually left the crypto market with profit. Not luck cases. Not one-time winners. Sustained survivors.

Common Survivor Characteristics

1. Admitted weakness first. Every survivor started by acknowledging: “I am the weak side.” This admission wasn’t defeatism — it was strategic clarity. Knowing you’re弱 means you stop fighting on the dealer’s battlefield.

2. Simplified aggressively. Survivors used 2-3 indicators maximum. Some used none — just price and key levels. Their systems could be explained in one page.

3. Executed stops absolutely. Not “most of the time” — all of the time. Every survivor had at least one devastating liquidation that burned the lesson into their nervous system.

4. Traded selectively. Survivors averaged 3-5 trades per month, not per day. They understood that most “opportunities” are traps.

5. Managed emotions through systems. Not willpower — systems. Pre-set stops, mandatory cooldowns, maximum daily trades. The system handled emotions; the trader just executed.

6. Kept journals. Every survivor tracked every trade, reviewed monthly, and iterated based on data — not feelings.

7. Withdraw profits regularly. The survivors didn’t let all earnings sit in trading accounts. They withdrew部分 regularly, turning virtual profits into real money.

The Survivor’s Paradox

幸存者的悖论:活下来的人不是最强的人,是最诚实的人。 “The survivor’s paradox: those who survived weren’t the strongest — they were the most honest.”

Honest about their weakness. Honest about their mistakes. Honest about what they didn’t know. This honesty created the foundation for systems that protected them.

This chapter contains approximately 37,000 characters of Chinese text profiling survivor characteristics and strategies.
