State Bank of Pakistan نے 2022 میں crypto exchanges block کر دیا. Risk real ہے.

SBP Actions

• 2022: SBP banned crypto exchanges (all Pakistani banks instructed to block)
• Banks: HBL, UBL, MCB, Bank Alfalah all complied
• Easypaisa/JazzCash: restricted crypto-related transactions
• Current status: P2P still works (person-to-person not blocked)

Protection Strategy

1. P2P Within Exchange (Best)

Gate.io P2P — Easypaisa/JazzCash goes to individual seller, not exchange. SBP cannot block person-to-person transfers.

2. Multiple Payment Methods

• Easypaisa + JazzCash + HBL + Raast
• If one blocks, use another
• JazzCash most flexible currently

3. Small Amounts

• Don’t transfer > ₨5,000 per Easypaisa per day
• Split into multiple transactions
• Smaller amounts = less scrutiny

4. Independent Wallet

• Don’t keep > ₨20,000 in exchange
• Transfer to own wallet (seed phrase)
• If SBP blocks exchange access, crypto still exists in your wallet

5. Backup Access

• Keep 2FA recovery codes offline
• Bank transfer as backup (HBL transfer still works for P2P)

If Easypaisa Blocked

1. Don’t panic — crypto not lost
2. Try JazzCash or Raast
3. Use HBL bank transfer (P2P)
4. Move crypto to independent wallet immediately
5. P2P still works within exchange
